Science Fiction and Fantasy fan, books, media. I go to basfa Meetings, cons, costume, and spend time with friends. Currently, I am Treasurer of the Mythopoeic Society myth_soc and mythsoc (rss feed for Yahoo group), Treasurer to San Francisco Science Fiction Conventions, Inc, Treasurer to Westercon 66, Treasurer to Mythcon 43 (yes, I do forget to stop volunteering). In my past life I was Chairperson of Mythcon 10 and Westercon 40. Married to a Fan, Mom of two fans, grandmother to 4 boys, yep, more fans. Mostly joined to keep tabs of my enemies comment on friend's pages :).

I spend most of my time on Facebook or Google+ these days, I use my RN, so I'm findable. But I still come here periodically.

Contacting me - Yes the e-mail address works, but it does get a LOT of spam. So make sure the subject line does something that will make you NOT look like spam. Just put my foot in it again - I never will learn. Chris Garcia asked me to help him with Corflu corflu. It happened a few springs ago at the Domaine Hotel is Sunnyvale. Website to follow. I was also the Treasurer for the San Jose in 2011 Westercon bid, Stop the Presses, We Won the Bid! So I was the treasurer of Westercon 64. Yikes! I usually use some variant on Lisa Marli or Auntie M. I especially like AuntieM42. So if you see those names on a Board or community someplace, check out the user info and see if it's me. I am good about giving that I live in San Jose, CA, and the birthdate of 6-27. Harry Potter note - Professor at Salem Witches Institute, after having been a student there. But had to put in Hogwarts for one of my schools, because these people don't know their Harry Potter. (Really, it's mentioned in Goblet at the World Quittich Match.) My usual picture is my professor's outfit.

Ostomy note - My Husband Harold has had an iliostomy for extreme collitis. It makes him grumpy. He doesn't like having the bag, but being very sick was worse.
